1946 Robert Alber received his diploma as a master shoemaker and opened up his first workshop in St. Jakob.
1948 After his marriage to Frieda Seeberger the shoemaker moved to St. Anton and reopened his workshop in the “Seeberger House”.
1951 Robert Alber built a house which also included a workshop and a shop, today’s "Schuh - Mode - Alber".
1953 to 1955 development of and patent application for the inflatable inner boot (Luftschuh)
1969 opening of the "Sport - Tschol - Alber" branch next to the Galzig cable car.
1979 The Alber Family leased "Sporthaus Schneider" and subsequently embarked on their career in sports equipment.
1986 Robert Alber entrusted his son Reinhard with the management of both his main shop "Schuhhaus Alber" and the leased premises.
